About

After graduating from Ithaca College with a degree in filmmaking, I flew west to Hollywood with a dream, I was going to be a great screenwriter. The only thing that held me back was my lack of talent for writing scripts. When one studio producer told me that I might want to rethink my future in film, I decided to return to the work I did during my college internship, trailer editing. And I realized that I enjoyed cutting trailers more. It was still storytelling, but in a shorter format, using picture and sound, not just words, to create fun mini movies. Movies transport us out of our own reality, and as a trailer editor I take great joy in giving others a taste of what reality or non-reality they might like to enjoy next. People always say, “You get paid to watch movies. What a cool job!” And I agree. After more than twenty years in the business my skills have improved and my passion for the work has only grown.
